Mobile oil change in Walnut Creek, CA

Oil, filter and a full fluid check on your driveway while you get on with your day. Thirty minutes, no waiting room, used oil taken away.

What is a mobile oil change?

We drain your engine oil, fit a new filter, refill to the manufacturer’s specification, and check every other fluid the vehicle depends on — coolant, brake fluid, transmission, power steering and washer. Used oil and filters leave with us and go to a licensed recycler.

The whole visit usually takes thirty to forty-five minutes, and it happens wherever the car is parked. Most customers carry on working and come out to a finished vehicle. There is no drop-off, no waiting area and no second trip.

  • Full synthetic, synthetic blend or conventional oil to your engine’s specification
  • New oil filter fitted and sump plug washer replaced
  • Coolant level and condition checked
  • Brake fluid level and moisture check
  • Transmission and power steering fluid inspected
  • Washer fluid topped up
  • Visual check of belts, hoses and obvious leaks
  • Used oil and filter removed and recycled

Why do oil changes matter?

Engine oil does four jobs at once: it lubricates, it cools, it cleans, and it seals. As it ages it thickens, fills with combustion by-products and loses its additive package. Run it long enough and it turns to sludge, which blocks oil galleries and quietly destroys bearings and camshafts — damage that costs more than the car is often worth.

It is also the single cheapest thing you can do for an engine, and the easiest to postpone, because nothing bad appears to happen when you skip it. The consequences arrive years later and all at once. Almost every seized or sludged engine we see was running on oil somebody meant to change.

When is an oil change due?

Follow your manufacturer’s interval as the baseline, then bring it forward if any of these apply.

The oil life monitor is near zero

Modern cars track this accurately. When it reaches zero it is not a suggestion.

The oil is black and gritty

Clean oil is amber and slippery. Grit between your fingers means it has been in there too long.

Mostly short, stop-start journeys

East Bay commuting is harder on oil than freeway miles — the engine never fully warms through, so fuel and moisture dilute it.

A rattle on cold start

A brief noise at startup can mean oil is no longer clinging where it should overnight.

You tow, carry loads or drive the hills

Heat ages oil faster than anything. Hard-working engines need shorter intervals.

The car has sat unused for months

Oil degrades with time as well as mileage. Age alone is a valid reason to change it.

How our mobile oil change service works

Start by sending us the make, model and mileage, and telling us where the car will be parked — a driveway, a workplace bay, a kerbside space or an apartment lot. If you are looking for a mobile oil change near you anywhere in Walnut Creek or the East Bay, request a quote here or call and we will confirm a time. Because we bring the oil and filter with us, most visits are done in thirty to forty-five minutes and you do not need to be present for any of it. Mention anything unusual when you book — a turbocharged engine, a car that only does short trips, or one that has sat unused for months — because each of those changes the grade we bring.

  • Give us the make, model and mileage so we bring the right oil grade and filter.
  • We drain, replace and refill to the manufacturer’s specification.
  • We check every other fluid and flag anything that needs attention.
  • We take the waste away and log the service for your records.

Oil change questions we get asked

How often should I change my oil?

Most modern engines on full synthetic run 7,500 to 10,000 miles, but short-trip city driving shortens that considerably. We work to your manufacturer’s figure and adjust for how you actually drive.

Do you use synthetic or conventional oil?

Whatever your engine specifies. Most vehicles from the last fifteen years require full synthetic, and we will not put conventional in an engine that calls for synthetic just to save a few dollars.

Will a mobile oil change affect my warranty?

No. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act a manufacturer cannot void your warranty for using an independent servicer, provided the correct specification parts are used and the work is documented. We keep records for exactly that reason.

What happens to the used oil?

It leaves with us and goes to a licensed recycling facility. We use drain containment, so your driveway is left exactly as we found it.
